All greening that leaves the ground can be called three-dimensional greening. It is a form of special space. Multi-level, multi-functional greening and beautification of the façade, roof, underground and upper space of various buildings and structures to improve the local climate and ecological service function, expand urban greening space and beautify the urban landscape. Roof, wall, balcony, concrete floor, garage roof greening belongs to its category. In foreign countries, roof greening and three-dimensional greening is the same concept.
Three-dimensional greening
Three-dimensional greening is a leap from two-dimensional greening thinking to three-dimensional space, which is an important initiative to improve the urban ecological environment. Three-dimensional greening is a high and new technology developed in the past 10 years due to a series of social and environmental problems such as accelerated urbanization, urban population expansion, land supply constraints, and the increasingly serious urban heat island effect.
The greening of walls and roofs can be widely used for the greening and decoration of internal and external wall facades of buildings, and can replace any wall decoration materials; replacing the green belts of highways and municipal transportation with plant walls not only beautifies the environment, purifies the air, and curbs the urban heat island effect, but also saves a lot of land resources. In addition, three-dimensional greening also provides new design elements for architectural design, which is a new solution for “ecological architecture”.
The role of three-dimensional greening and its value in our life, why choose greening to improve urban environmental pollution? Because green plants can use light energy to produce oxygen; fix carbon dioxide to synthesize the agricultural production system. It is measured that each hectare of forest green plants can absorb and fix carbon dioxide 1050 kilograms and 900 kilograms per day respectively. Every 44g of carbon dioxide absorbed by green plants can release 32g of oxygen. During the growing season, one hectare of broad-leaved forest absorbs 900 kilograms of carbon dioxide and releases 600 kilograms of oxygen per day. In this way, it plays a role in maintaining the balance of carbon dioxide and oxygen in the atmosphere, absorbing carbon dioxide and releasing oxygen, completing the gas renewal and providing oxygen for aerobic organisms continuously. In the street with greening, the dust content in the air is 56.7% lower than that in the area without greening; the amount of dust above the grassland is only 1/6 to 1/3 of that in the bare area. experimental results show that a 10-meter wide forest belt can reduce the noise by 30%. a lawn of 50 square meters can attenuate the sound of 10 decibels; the planting of the plants can reduce the noise of 26-43 decibels.
Advantages of three-dimensional greening: improve land use efficiency and output efficiency, capital use efficiency; adhere to the principle of ecological priority, functional coordination, vigorously promote water-saving greening technology, improve the service life of buildings; energy saving and emission reduction, noise reduction, moisture retention, dust absorption, landscaping, disaster prevention and mitigation.
The significance of three-dimensional greening: increase the area of three-dimensional greening, improve the deteriorating living environment space of human beings, and improve the status quo of high-rise buildings and many roads replaced by hard surfaces.
